The K characteristic means that the circuit breaker reacts slightly slower to short-term current surges, which is particularly important when connecting devices with motors or other elements generating high starting currents – this will not cause unnecessary disconnection of the circuit. This ensures stable system operation without the risk of damage to connected devices. Energy limitation class 3 and surge category III confirm its high resistance to interference.

Installation and compatibility

The S203-K25 circuit breaker occupies 3 modules on a DIN rail, which facilitates its installation in electrical distribution boards. The cross-section of the cables that can be connected to it is from 0.75 mm² to 35 mm² for solid conductors and from 0.75 mm² to 25 mm² for stranded conductors.
