The S203-K63 circuit breaker is characterized by a high short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA at 400V and 20kA at 230V (according to IEC 60947-2), which guarantees the safety of the installation in the event of sudden overvoltages. The device's construction meets the requirements of overvoltage category III and pollution degree 3, making it suitable for operation in harsh environmental conditions.
Installation and application
The circuit breaker occupies 3 modules on a DIN rail, making it easy to install in electrical distribution boards. The cross-section of the conductors connected to the circuit breaker can range from 0.75 mm² to 35 mm² for solid conductors and from 0.75 mm² to 25 mm² for stranded conductors, providing flexibility in the selection of supply conductors. The device operates in an ambient temperature range of -25°C to +55°C, allowing it to be used in various climatic conditions. The IP20 degree of protection provides protection against accidental contact.
An additional advantage is the possibility of expanding the system with additional equipment, allowing the functionality of the circuit breaker to be adapted to the individual needs of the installation. The circuit breaker has energy limitation class 3, which means high resistance to the effects of short-circuit energy. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 440V and the rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp is 4kV.
