The S203-C50NA switch from the S200 series by ABB has been designed to operate within a wide range of voltages (400V) and frequencies (50-60Hz). The C characteristic makes it ideal for circuits with high starting current – it reacts more slowly to short current surges, therefore tolerates the starting of devices with a motor well. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA at 400V ensures effective protection in the event of a failure.
