This RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent protection) is a key element ensuring safety in electrical circuits. Its use in residential, commercial and industrial installations guarantees protection against the effects of overloads, short circuits and dangerous leakage currents. The device combines the functions of an overcurrent circuit breaker and a residual current device, providing comprehensive protection for both people and equipment.

The DS201 B6 AC30 circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 6A and a B characteristic, which means it is ideal for protecting circuits with devices with moderate inrush current – such as lighting or sockets. A sensitivity of 30mA (AC) ensures a quick response to leakage currents, minimizing the risk of electric shock. The rated breaking capacity of 6kA guarantees effective disconnection of the circuit in the event of a short circuit.

Design and installation

The circuit breaker is designed for mounting on a DIN rail, which simplifies and speeds up installation. Compact dimensions – only 2 modules wide – allow you to save space in the switchgear cabinet. Solid construction and high-quality workmanship ensure long-lasting and reliable operation of the device. Additionally, single-pole disconnection of the N pole increases safety.

Compliance with EN 61009 and IEC 60947-2 standards confirms the high quality and safety of the product. Designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to 55°C and has an IP20 degree of protection, which means protection against touching with a finger and solid objects larger than 12mm. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 500V, and the rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp is 4kV – these parameters demonstrate resistance to overvoltages and operating conditions in difficult environments. The cross-section of the connected multi-wire cable is from 0.75mm² to 16mm², which provides flexibility in choosing cables tailored to a specific application.
