Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent protection DS201 M C16 A30 is a compact protection for electrical installations, combining the functions of an overcurrent and residual current circuit breaker. Designed to protect single-phase circuits against the effects of overloads, short circuits and electric shock. Its construction, taking up only two modules on a TH rail, allows for efficient use of space in the distribution board.

This 1P+N circuit breaker with characteristic C provides reliable protection for both the installation and users. Characteristic C means that the circuit breaker reacts more slowly to short-term current surges, which is particularly important when connecting devices with motors or other elements generating inrush current – unnecessary tripping due to temporary load will not occur. The rated residual current of 30mA ensures a quick response in the event of a leakage current to earth, minimizing the risk of electric shock. It is ideal for lighting circuits, socket circuits and powering household appliances.
Construction and features
The DS201 M C16 A30 circuit breaker has been designed for easy installation and reliable operation. Its width of 2 modules makes it easy to place in the distribution board, and the IP20 degree of protection protects against contact and the ingress of solid objects. The short-circuit capacity of up to 10kA guarantees effective disconnection of the circuit in the event of a short circuit. Equipped with screw terminals, it allows the connection of wires with a cross-section from 0.75 mm² to 16 mm². Additionally, the presence of a neutral pole (N) allows for full circuit protection. Operation at temperatures from -25°C to +55°C makes it suitable for most installation conditions.
