This residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) is a compact yet efficient solution for protecting electrical circuits in residential and commercial buildings. The circuit breaker is characterized by a rated current of 16A and a high short-circuit breaking capacity – up to 10kA – which guarantees an effective response in the event of a failure. Characteristic C provides delayed tripping for short-term overloads, which is particularly important for devices with motors or other elements generating high starting current. In addition, the tripping current sensitivity of 30mA provides protection for people against electric shock.
