The DS201 C32 AC30 RCBO features a C characteristic, which means it is ideal for circuits with devices generating inrush currents during start-up – such as motors or transformers. This prevents unnecessary tripping of the device during short-term load surges. A rated current of 32A and a short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA guarantee effective protection even in the event of serious failures. In addition, a residual current sensitivity of 30mA ensures a rapid response in the event of a current leakage to earth, minimizing the risk of electric shock.

Installation and application

The 2-module wide RCBO is easy to mount on a TH35 rail. It is intended for use in circuits with a voltage of 240V AC and a frequency of 50/60 Hz. The possibility of connecting multi-strand conductors with a cross-section from 0.75 mm² to 16 mm² provides flexibility during installation. The 1P+N design with simultaneous disconnection of the N pole increases safety and facilitates identification of the faulty circuit. Operation in an ambient temperature from -25°C to +55°C allows it to be used in various environmental conditions.
