Residual Current Device (RCD) F202 A-25/0.03 is a key element ensuring safety in electrical installations. This device, manufactured by ABB, effectively protects people and equipment from the effects of short-circuit currents to earth and from electric shock. This 2-pole RCD with a rated current of 25A and a sensitivity of 30mA (type A) is used in both residential, commercial and industrial installations. It provides protection against the effects of sinusoidal, alternating earth fault currents, as well as additional protection against direct contacts. Mounting is done on a DIN rail, which facilitates integration with the existing electrical infrastructure. The width of the device, measuring 2 modules, allows for efficient use of space in the distribution board.

Construction and technical parameters

The F202 RCD is characterized by a solid construction and high reliability. It has a lock that prevents accidental switching on after switching off caused by the operation of the protection. It is designed to operate at temperatures from -25°C to 55°C and has an IP2X degree of protection – this ensures its proper functioning even in difficult environmental conditions. Short-circuit strength at 1 kA guarantees resistance to sudden current surges. The possibility of mounting additional equipment allows the RCD to be adapted to the specific needs of the installation. The cross-section of the single-wire connected conductor is 25 mm², and the multi-wire one up to 25 mm². The rated insulation voltage Ui is 500 V and the rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp is 4 kV.
