Construction features and application

The SZ201-B32 circuit breaker is designed for mounting on a DIN rail and is characterized by a degree of protection of IP20, which means protection against touching with a finger and solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The cross-section of the wires that can be connected to the circuit breaker is from 0.75 mm² to 35 mm² for solid wires and from 0.75 mm² to 25 mm² for stranded wires. The rated impulse withstand voltage of the circuit breaker is as high as 4kV, which increases its resistance to sudden voltage surges.

Characteristic B means that the circuit breaker reacts quickly to short-circuit current increase, but allows for short-term overloads, which is important when starting devices with electric motors or other elements generating starting current. The possibility of additional equipment allows you to adapt the circuit breaker to specific installation needs. Energy limitation class is 3 and surge category is 3 – this ensures adequate protection in the event of overvoltages in the electrical network.
