Single-pole circuit breaker with a rated current of 20A and characteristic C is an element used to protect electrical circuits against overload and short circuit. Features and application

This circuit breaker is designed for use in electrical installations of residential and commercial buildings. Characteristic C means it reacts slower to short current surges, therefore it tolerates well the starting of devices with a motor – such as pumps or air conditioners. The width of 1 module allows for efficient use of space in the distribution board. Application in lighting circuits, socket circuits or to power receivers with high starting current.

Construction and parameters

The circuit breaker has been designed with easy mounting on a TH35 rail in mind. Its installation depth is 69 mm. Adapted to work at temperatures from -25°C to 55°C, which makes it reliable even in difficult conditions. Protection class IP20 provides protection against accidental contact, but does not protect against the influence of water. Possibility to connect solid conductors with a cross-section from 0.75 mm² to 35 mm² and stranded conductors from 0.75 mm² to 25 mm² gives flexibility in choosing the supply wires. Made in accordance with overvoltage category III and pollution degree 2, which guarantees its reliability in standard installation conditions.
