This component serves as a watertight closure for the initial or final section of the drainage channel, ensuring the integrity of the entire ACO DRAIN® Multiline system. Made from polymer concrete, this material is characterized by low water absorption and frost resistance, which is crucial for installation in areas exposed to freeze-thaw cycles. Thanks to the reinforced edges made of galvanized steel, the structure gains additional rigidity and resistance to mechanical damage during operation and installation.
Practical application and installation
The product is dedicated to systems with a clear width corresponding to type 5. Its lower part features a pre-formed outlet opening with a diameter of 110 mm, equipped with a lip-labyrinth seal. This type of sealing guarantees a watertight vertical connection with sewer pipes, eliminating the risk of leaks into the ground or sub-base.

Durability and reliability in demanding conditions
The polymer concrete used in the production of this end wall is an engineered material that combines the properties of concrete with the resistance of plastics. As a result, the element does not absorb water, preventing cracks caused by ice expansion within the material's pores. The galvanized steel edges act as rigid "frames," protecting the fragile corners of the channel from impacts by heavy vehicles or construction tools.
This system is designed to operate across a wide range of load classes (from A15 to E600), meaning it can be used on sidewalks as well as public roads or loading areas. Combined with other components of the Multiline system (Drainlock® grates), it forms a cohesive unit that effectively drains rainwater and meltwater, protecting the pavement from undermining.
