Functionality and Protection

The switch offers 8 Fast Ethernet 10/100Mbps ports, providing sufficient bandwidth for most industrial applications. All ports are protected against electrostatic discharge (ESD) up to 4000VDC, minimizing the risk of damage caused by sudden surges. Additionally, a protected power supply (up to 3000VDC) increases the device's resistance to interference and failures. The store and forward mechanism ensures reliable data transmission by verifying packet correctness. Auto-negotiation of speed and automatic MDI/MDI-X selection simplify installation and configuration – eliminating the need for crossover cables.

Flexibility and Mounting

The device has a redundant power supply accepting voltage in the range of 12-48VDC, ensuring continuous operation even in the event of a power supply failure. A robust metal housing (IP30) protects internal components from dust and other contaminants. The switch can be easily wall-mounted or on a standard DIN rail, facilitating integration with existing industrial infrastructure. Operation in a wide temperature range from -40 to 75°C allows it to be used in the most challenging environmental conditions.
