Lightning protection installation test joint – reliability and easy control

This test joint, designed for connecting the lightning conductor wire to the metal sheet, is a key element of every surge protection system. It not only enables a solid connection of the wires but, above all, – safe and convenient measurement of earthing resistance without the need to disassemble the installation elements. Made of copper, it provides excellent conductivity and long-lasting reliability.

Design and application

The joint has been designed with professional installers and users who value ease of installation and subsequent monitoring of the installation condition in mind. It allows connecting a wire with a diameter from 8mm to 40mm to the metal sheet. Installation is carried out using screws M8x20 (4 pcs), M10x16 (1 pc) and M8x20 (2 pcs) – all made of durable brass. Brass screws provide corrosion resistance and connection stability for a long time.
