Cross connector for round and flat conductors

This cross connector, made of galvanized steel, is designed to connect round and flat conductors in lightning protection systems and other applications requiring a reliable electrical connection. Its construction, based on two plates, ensures stability and durability of the connection.

Construction and application

The connector allows connection of conductors with a diameter of 8 to 10 mm and flat tapes up to 40 mm wide. Made of high-quality galvanized steel, it is characterized by corrosion resistance and ensures long-term reliability in harsh weather conditions. It finds application in grounding systems, lightning protection installations of buildings, and in industry where safe and durable electrical connections are required. Assembly is done using four M8x25 screws (galvanized steel), which ensures a solid and secure connection.

The connector has a protection class of H2, which means it can withstand a lightning strike current of up to 200kA – confirmed by BBJ-SEP tests. In addition, a special galvanizing process and polymer coating sealing provide the highest class of anti-corrosion protection, also confirmed by BBJ-SEP tests. The product complies with the PN-EN 62561-1 standard, which guarantees its safety and effectiveness.
