Lightning protection – freestanding insulated mast

This freestanding, insulated mast on a tripod, with a height of 3000 mm, is a key element of the lightning protection system. It is designed to effectively dissipate energy from atmospheric discharges from protected objects, minimizing the risk of damage and ensuring safety. It is ideal for securing buildings with remote down conductors, where traditional solutions may be insufficient.

This mast not only protects against direct lightning strikes but also provides a safe distance between the device and the lightning protection installation thanks to the use of horizontal insulating rods. The complete set includes everything necessary for correct installation and operation: an aluminum needle, a solid tripod base, concrete weights, insulators, mats, and a connection for the conductor.

Construction and materials – durability and reliability

The mast is made of high-quality materials, guaranteeing long-term protection against corrosion and weathering. Aluminum, fiberglass, and electrolytically galvanized steel were used – a combination that provides mechanical strength and resistance to external factors. The concrete weights are frost-resistant and do not require additional gluing to the roofing in any wind zone in Poland (I, II, III).

The mast's construction has been designed for easy installation and stability. The tripod base provides a solid foundation on various types of ground, and the appropriately selected foundation diameter (1430 mm) guarantees stability even in strong winds.
