This lightning protection mast, with a height of 6000 mm, is designed to protect photovoltaic installations from the effects of atmospheric discharges. However, it will also be useful in other applications requiring effective protection against lightning strikes. The mast design assumes mounting on an individual, single earthing system.

Construction and materials

The mast combines elements made of aluminum and hot-dip galvanized steel, which guarantees high corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. The aluminum needle provides effective discharge of discharges, and the hot-dip galvanized earthing rod provides a stable and safe base. The combination of these materials is a compromise between lightness and strength – important for installations exposed to strong winds. In addition, the hot-dip galvanizing process is crucial for ensuring the longevity of the structure, especially in harsh weather conditions.

Safety confirmed by certificate

The mast has undergone rigorous testing in accordance with PN-EN 62561-1-2 and has received a class H2 certificate (200kA). This means that it can withstand a lightning current of 200kA, providing effective protection for the protected installation. This certificate confirms the high quality and reliability of the product. The solution is subject to a reservation in the UPRP, which demonstrates its uniqueness and innovation.

Installation and application

The mast is intended for mounting on an individual earthing system. Thanks to its design and dimensions (height 6000 mm), it provides optimal protection for photovoltaic farms and other objects exposed to direct lightning strikes. It should be remembered that in order to ensure compliance with the hot-dip galvanizing process and meet the warranty conditions, the product may have technological holes and elements necessary for this process.
