Lightning protection for standing seam metal roofs

This lightning rod is specifically designed for mounting on roofs covered with standing seam metal. Its purpose is to provide effective protection for the building and the equipment inside it from the effects of direct lightning strikes. The rod absorbs the energy of the discharge and safely drains it to the down conductor network, minimizing the risk of damage and ensuring safety.

Design and application

The rod consists of several key elements: an aluminum needle, a base made of galvanized steel, and a connector also made of galvanized steel. This combination of materials guarantees not only high performance but also corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. Designed to work with round conductors with a diameter of 8-10 mm. The height of the rod is 1000 mm, which provides adequate protection even on larger roof surfaces.
