Lightning Protection – Lightning Rod Mast for Structures

This lightning rod mast, designed for mounting on walls or structures, provides effective protection of buildings and equipment against the effects of lightning strikes. Its design, based on the principle of spaced conductors, minimizes the risk of damage caused by a direct lightning strike. The mast transfers the electrical charge to the conductor network, safely discharging it into the ground.

Construction and Application

The mast is made of durable materials – aluminum, fiberglass, and electrolytically galvanized steel – guaranteeing its durability and corrosion resistance. Horizontal insulating rods maintain a safe distance from the protected elements, increasing the effectiveness of the protection. The kit includes an aluminum needle, insulators, and a connector for the wire, making installation and integration with an existing lightning protection system easier. The mast height is 5000 mm, and the diameter ranges from Ø10-40 mm.

Safety and Compliance with Standards

The product meets the requirements of PN-EN 62305 standard, confirming its compliance with European safety standards. AH HARDT has implemented a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001:2015, demonstrating a responsible approach to production and care for the natural environment. The mast is adapted to wind zones I, II and III in Poland. The kit includes 3 side insulators. The mast weight is 9.8 kg.
