Flexible lightning conductor connection

This compensating connection, made of stainless steel and aluminum wire rope, is designed for the flexible connection of lightning conductors. Its main task is to provide a reliable electrical connection while minimizing the risk of damage caused by mechanical stress or thermal differences. The use of such a solution is crucial in lightning protection systems, where flexibility and durability of connections directly affect the effectiveness of the entire system.

Construction and application

The connection consists of a 9mm diameter stainless steel wire rope, braided with aluminum wire, providing both mechanical strength and good electrical conductivity. The length of the connection is 500mm. Designed for conductors with a diameter of 5 to 8 mm, mounted with M8 screws (4xM8x10) also made of stainless steel – guaranteeing corrosion resistance and long-term use. It is recommended to install every 40 meters of lightning conductor to ensure optimal installation protection.
