This 24-port patch panel from ALANTEC is a basic, shielded element of the path, designed for building reliable distribution points in telecommunication networks exposed to electromagnetic interference. Made of powder-coated steel sheet, it provides durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The compensation circuit implemented directly on the PCB with universal LSA slit connectors facilitates and speeds up installation.

Shielding and data transmission

The panel's shielding minimizes the risk of interference and crosstalk, which is particularly important in high-density cabling environments – server rooms, data centers or offices. Compliance with ISO/IEC 11801 standard guarantees high data transmission quality. The panel supports all types of shielded cables: U/FTP, F/UTP, F/FTP and S/FTP, however, due to the requirement of proper grounding, it is not recommended to use it with unshielded cables. Category 5e allows data transmission at speeds up to 1 Gbps (Gigabit Ethernet).

Functionality and warranty

Mounting in a standard 19-inch rack cabinet (1U height) optimizes space utilization. Each port is clearly labeled, making it easier to identify and manage connections. The panel is compliant with the PoE+ standard (IEEE 802.3at), allowing you to power devices such as VoIP phones, WiFi access points or CCTV cameras directly through the network cable. The product is covered by a 25-year ALANTEC PLUS system warranty – the condition for obtaining the warranty is to have the installation carried out by a trained installer and to carry out network certification using a calibrated meter.
