This 24-port shielded category 6 patch panel is a key element of every professional and home network installation. Designed for building distribution points in telecommunication networks exposed to electromagnetic interference (STP), it ensures stable and secure data transmission. Construction and functionality

The ALANTEC cross-connect panel, mounted in a standard 19" rack with a height of 1U, optimizes space utilization while providing easy access to ports and good ventilation. Each of the 24 RJ45 ports has a field for labeling, which facilitates connection identification and quick network reconfiguration. The rear panel is equipped with IDC type LSA connectors, designed for terminating transmission cables with a wire diameter of 22 to 26 AWG. The compensation circuit implemented directly on the printed circuit board with universal slot connectors guarantees high-quality connections.

Shielding and protection against interference

The panel's shielding protects the network from the negative effects of electromagnetic interference (EMI), minimizing crosstalk. The metal housing effectively eliminates external interference, which translates into stable data transmission even in environments with high cabling density, such as server rooms or offices with a lot of electronic devices. Thanks to this, the panel is compatible with all types of shielded cables: U/FTP, F/UTP, F/FTP and S/FTP – but remember to proper grounding! Using it with unshielded cables is not recommended.

Technical parameters and compliance with standards

The patch panel meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 11801 and category 6 (class E), guaranteeing data transmission at speeds up to 1 Gbps at a frequency of 250 MHz. It is also compliant with the PoE++ (type 3) IEEE 802.3bt 60W standard, allowing you to power devices such as VoIP phones, WiFi access points and CCTV cameras directly through the network cable. Made of high-quality materials – cold-rolled steel sheet powder-coated and ABS plastic – it ensures durability and reliability. The product is covered by a 25-year A-LAN Technologie system warranty, provided that the installation is carried out by a trained installer and the network is certified.
