Construction and application

The RN III SA 24/4 disconnect switch consists of three independent poles (current paths) mounted on a common steel beam, hot-dip galvanized to ensure high corrosion resistance. The distance between the poles is 430 mm. The possibility of mounting earthing contacts allows the device to be configured as a disconnect-earthing switch, which increases its functionality and safety. This makes it possible not only to close and open electrical circuits, but also to ground disconnected parts of the circuit, minimizing the risk of electric shock. The design allows for mounting in both horizontal and vertical positions, making it easier to adapt to different terrain conditions and installation requirements.
