Disconnecting-earthing switch overhead, frame-vertical 100A RUNp III SA 24/4/100K 03-740
Safe and reliable disconnection of overhead lines
Air disconnect switch-grounder, frame-vertical type, designed for safe disconnection of medium voltage lines. The design allows both disconnection and grounding of the circuit, increasing safety during maintenance and repair work. Model RUNp III SA 24/4/100K with a rated current of 100A is a solid solution for installers and network operators.
Design and operating principle
The disconnect switch is built on a vertical frame, which facilitates mounting on poles. Each pole is supported by two insulators – one attached to the base, the other to the movable beam. This construction ensures synchronization of closing and opening of all poles, minimizing the risk of damage. The current path consists of main and auxiliary (arcing) contacts, mounted on support cassettes directly on the insulators.
- Common base and drive: Enables simultaneous operation on all three poles, simplifying operation and increasing reliability.
- Vertical mounting: Designed for mounting on poles, ensuring stability and easy access.
- Pole synchronization: Simultaneous closing and opening minimizes the risk of electric arc or equipment damage.
- Main and auxiliary contacts: Provide a secure connection and the ability to signal the status of the disconnect switch.
Practical application
The disconnect switch-grounder RUNp III SA 24/4/100K finds application in:
- Medium voltage overhead lines: As a protective element and enabling safe disconnection of network segments.
- Transformer substations: For disconnecting transformers during maintenance or emergency work.
- Network connection points: Allows safe connection or disconnection of electricity consumers.
- Service work: Provides safe working conditions for installers and service technicians during repair and maintenance of power lines.
