SteinWolle ALU - rock wool insulation wrap with a thickness of 80mm [080x76] /1m/ MFSR-80X076
SteinWolle ALU pipe insulation – effective thermal and acoustic protection
SteinWolle ALU is a high-quality insulation wrap made of rock wool, coated with a layer of reinforced aluminum foil. It is designed for thermal and acoustic insulation of central heating pipes, hot and cold water pipes, and ventilation ducts. It is suitable for use in residential, public and industrial buildings. The wrap has a convenient slit on one side and a self-adhesive overlap, making installation easier and ensuring a tight seal.
Properties and application
SteinWolle ALU insulation is not only protection against heat loss, but also reduces noise in installations. Thanks to the use of rock wool, the insulation is characterized by excellent thermal and acoustic properties. The aluminum foil acts as a barrier to thermal radiation, increasing the efficiency of the insulation. The product is particularly recommended for insulating installations in places exposed to high temperatures – the maximum operating temperature is +250°C. The thermal conductivity of the wrap is ≤ 0.037 W/(m·K) for a thickness of 20-40 mm and ≤ 0.038 W/(m·K) for a thickness of over 40 mm.
Safety and compliance with standards
SteinWolle ALU meets high fire safety standards. It has a fire class of A2L - s1, d0 according to EN 13501-1, which means limited flammability, no smoke emission and no formation of burning droplets or sparks. This guarantees safety in the event of a fire. The material has been classified as non-flammable according to European standards.
SteinWolle ALU is characterized by the following properties: fire class A2L - s1, d0, maximum operating temperature +250°C, thermal conductivity λ (for θm = 40°C) ≤ 0.037 W/(m·K) for a thickness of 20-40 mm and ≤ 0.038 W/(m·K) for a thickness of over 40 mm. The material is made of rock wool and coated with reinforced aluminum foil. Additional features include a self-adhesive overlap and a slit on one side for easy installation.
Thanks to these properties, SteinWolle ALU is an investment in thermal comfort and installation safety for years to come.
