Tubolit DG Plus is a flexible insulation material based on expanded polyethylene (PEF), designed for comprehensive thermal, acoustic and protective insulation of heating, sanitary installations, as well as hot and cold domestic water systems. The use of this insulation translates into a significant reduction in energy losses, protection of pipes against external conditions and improved comfort of use. The product is particularly recommended for both residential and industrial buildings.

Properties and application

Tubolit DG Plus insulation is characterized by a closed-cell structure, which ensures exceptionally low thermal conductivity – even as low as 0.035 W/(m·K) at 10°C. Thanks to this, it effectively limits energy losses, contributing to lower operating costs and reduced CO2 emissions. The material is resistant to commonly used building materials such as cement, lime or gypsum, and also prevents condensation on cold water pipes. It can be used in installations made of metal, plastics and multilayer materials, with a maximum medium temperature of 100°C.

Safety and compliance with standards

Safety of use is a key aspect of Tubolit DG Plus. The material has a fire reaction class of B-s1, d0 (for sheaths 6-26 mm), which means it is non-combustible and generates minimal smoke in the event of a fire. It meets the requirements of PN-EN 14313:2009 and has a CE mark, confirming compliance with European regulations and standards. In addition, Tubolit DG Plus is 100% recyclable, and its production uses up to 50% of secondary raw materials. The product also meets the requirements for volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
