Polyethylene insulation Tubolit DG PLUS – effective thermal and acoustic protection

Tubolit DG Plus is a flexible insulation material made of closed-cell polyethylene foam, designed for comprehensive insulation of sanitary, heating and domestic hot/cold water installations. This product is characterized by very good thermal insulation properties, reducing energy losses by up to 90% and contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions. Thanks to its flexibility and ease of installation, Tubolit DG Plus is suitable for both new installations and the modernization of existing ones.

Product features and application

Tubolit DG Plus insulation is not only protection against heat loss, but also effective soundproofing of the installation, minimizing noise from the flowing medium. The material is resistant to commonly used building materials (cement, lime, gypsum) and prevents condensation on cold water pipes. It finds application in residential and industrial buildings, as well as in outdoor installations. It is compatible with pipes made of metal, plastics and multilayer materials.

Technical parameters and scope of application

The operating temperature of Tubolit DG Plus insulation is a maximum of +100°C (85°C for tapes). The product meets the requirements of EN 14707 and EN 14313 standards. Thanks to the wide range of available diameters and insulation thicknesses, Tubolit DG Plus can be adapted to most standard pipe installations. The possibility of use in central heating, domestic hot and cold water installations and sewer pipes makes it a universal solution for professionals and home users.
