Polyethylene insulation for sanitary and heating installations

This flexible Tubolit DG Plus insulation wrap, made of closed-cell polyethylene foam, is a proven choice for effective thermal and acoustic insulation in heating, sanitary and water supply installations. The product is designed for use in both residential and industrial buildings, as well as in outdoor installations. Thanks to its properties, it minimizes energy losses and protects pipes from freezing and condensation.

Product features and application

Tubolit DG Plus is characterized by a low thermal conductivity coefficient (0.0035 W/(m·K)), which translates into a significant reduction in heat loss – up to 90% – and a reduction in CO2 emissions. The material is easy to install, flexible and resistant to commonly used building materials such as cement, lime or gypsum. It can be used with multilayer pipes and those made of plastics, with a maximum medium temperature of 100°C. Additionally, the wrap dampens installations, reducing unwanted noise.

Safety and compliance with standards

The safety of use is confirmed by the fire reaction class B (L)-s1, d0, which means that the material is non-combustible, difficult to ignite and characterized by normal smoke emission and no dripping burning droplets. The product meets the requirements of PN-EN 14313:2009 and has a CE mark, guaranteeing compliance with European regulations in the field of energy saving. The new formula of the wrap is also environmentally friendly – 100% recyclable.
