Tubolit DG polyethylene sheathing is a flexible insulation material with a closed-cell structure, designed for effective thermal, acoustic insulation and protection of pipes in central heating, domestic hot and cold water, and sewage systems. Made of polyethylene foam, it effectively reduces energy losses, up to 90%, which translates to lower building operating costs and reduced CO2 emissions.
Properties and application
Tubolit DG is characterized by a very low thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.04 W/(m·K), making it an ideal solution for demanding applications. Additionally, the sheathing protects pipes from condensation and the influence of aggressive building materials. It is worth remembering that in the initial phase of use, slight shrinkage of the sheathing may occur (up to about 2% or more under specific conditions), which should be taken into account during installation. The product has a fire reaction class E according to EN 13501-1, providing a basic level of fire safety.
