Tubolit S is a flexible polyethylene foam wrap with a closed-cell structure, designed for insulating heating pipes, sanitary pipes, and hot and cold water installations. This product is used in both residential and industrial buildings, providing effective protection against energy loss, condensation, and noise transmission. Thanks to its versatility, it works well in new installations as well as in the modernization of existing ones.

Efficiency and properties

A thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.04 W/(m·K) means that Tubolit S significantly reduces heat loss – by up to 90%, which translates into lower heating and cooling costs. In addition, this material exhibits high resistance to water vapor diffusion, preventing moisture condensation on the pipe surface and protecting them from corrosion. Fire reaction class E ensures safe use in accordance with applicable standards. A protective film on the outer surface increases durability and resistance to mechanical damage.

Installation and application

Tubolit S wrap is easy to install and adapts to the shape of the insulated surface. It can be used to insulate copper and steel pipes of various diameters, as well as fittings and elbows. The product is available in different thicknesses (9 mm), allowing it to be adapted to individual needs and design requirements. It is worth remembering that in the initial phase of installation operation, a slight shrinkage of the wrap may occur – up to about 2%. Tubolit S has a CE mark confirming compliance with European regulations and standards.
