Tubolit S is a flexible polyethylene foam wrap designed for comprehensive insulation of heating pipes, sanitary pipes, and hot and cold water installations. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, this product effectively reduces energy losses, reduces noise, and protects against condensation. Available in blue, Tubolit S is easy to install and provides durable protection for installations.

Properties and application

Tubolit S is characterized by an exceptionally low thermal conductivity of 0.04 W/(m·K), which translates into a significant reduction in heat loss – up to 90%. This makes it an ideal solution for both new installations and modernization of existing systems. The wrap finds application in residential, commercial and industrial construction, where energy efficiency and user comfort are key. The product meets the requirements of PN-EN 14313:2009 and has a fire reaction class E according to EN 13501-1, which guarantees safety of use.

Construction and parameters

Tubolit S is made of polyethylene foam (PEF) with a closed-cell structure. The surface of the wrap is covered with a protective blue film, which further protects the material from mechanical damage and weathering. The thickness of the wrap is 26 mm, which ensures optimal thermal and acoustic insulation. It is important to remember the potential shrinkage of the wrap by about 2% after installation – especially in the case of installations with large diameters or intense medium flow.
