Insulation wrap – effective thermal and acoustic protection

Insulation wrap is made of high-quality rock wool, covered with a layer of reinforced aluminum foil. The product is designed for thermal and acoustic insulation of central heating pipelines, hot and cold water pipes, and ventilation ducts. Thanks to its construction and properties, the wrap is used in both residential buildings and public and industrial facilities. Available in sections 1 meter long, making it easy to adapt to specific installation needs.

Properties and application

The wrap is characterized by high insulation efficiency, minimizing heat loss in heating and cooling systems. The aluminum foil acts as a barrier to thermal radiation, further enhancing the insulating properties. Rock wool provides excellent sound insulation, reducing noise from flowing media. A self-adhesive tab facilitates installation and ensures a tight seal. A slit on one side allows for flexible fitting to pipes of different diameters.

The product meets high fire safety standards – fire class A2L-s1, d0 – guaranteeing its safe use in various conditions. The maximum medium temperature is +250°C, and the thermal conductivity λ for temperature θm = 40°C is ≤ 0.037 for wraps with a thickness of 20-40 mm. This makes it a reliable solution for demanding installations.

Construction and parameters

The wrap consists of a layer of rock wool with a high density (80-100 kg/m3), which provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties, and an outer layer of reinforced aluminum foil, which protects against mechanical damage and acts as a barrier to thermal radiation. The material is non-flammable (smoke emission class s1 and no formation of burning droplets/sparks d0), which increases safety in the event of a fire. The round shape of the wrap makes it easy to fit to pipes of different diameters, and the self-adhesive tab ensures a tight connection of the insulation elements.
