SteinWolle ALU insulation sheathing is a high-quality product designed for thermal insulation of central heating pipelines, hot and cold water pipes, and ventilation ducts. Made of rock wool, it is covered with a durable aluminum foil reinforced with a mesh, which ensures not only excellent insulation properties but also resistance to mechanical damage. Thanks to the self-adhesive tab, installation is quick and convenient.

Properties and Application

SteinWolle ALU finds wide application in both residential and public and industrial construction. Its main task is to minimize heat loss, prevent condensation of water vapor, and protect against noise. A cut on one side makes it easy to fit the sheathing to a pipe of the appropriate diameter. This product works perfectly in installations with a medium temperature of up to +250°C.

Safety and Technical Parameters

SteinWolle ALU sheathing is characterized by a high level of fire safety, having a fire class of A2L – s1, d0. This means that it does not contribute to the spread of fire and limits the formation of smoke. In addition, rock wool exhibits very good acoustic properties, damping sounds within the installation. Thermal conductivity λ for temperature θm = 40°C is ≤ 0.037 for sheathing with a thickness of 20-40 mm. This material is also resistant to the action of most chemical substances present in the construction environment.
