Thanks to the self-adhesive overlap, installation is quick and convenient, and the slit on one side makes it easy to fit the pipe shape.

Properties and application

SteinWolle ALU is ideal for residential, public and industrial buildings. Its versatility results from a wide range of operating temperatures (up to +250°C) and a low thermal conductivity coefficient – wraps with a thickness of over 40 mm achieve a value of ≤ 0.038 W/(m·K). This translates into real energy savings and reduced heat loss. Additionally, rock wool exhibits sound-absorbing properties, which increases the comfort of use of the rooms. The product is designed for insulating pipes with a diameter of 76mm.

Safety and compliance with standards

Safety is a priority – SteinWolle ALU insulation wrap has a fire class of A2L-s1, d0, which means limited flammability and no release of toxic fumes in the event of a fire. It meets European standards regarding fire safety, protecting the installation and users. The material is also characterized by a smoke emission class of s1 and a class of formation of burning droplets and/or sparks of d0. This guarantees high quality and reliability of the product in all conditions.
