Installation protection and effective removal of impurities – insulation for AULIN dirt separator DN80

The insulation for the AULIN DN80 dirt separator is an essential element protecting heating and water systems from the effects of impurities. It provides effective protection of control and measurement equipment, heat exchangers, pumps and regulating automation. Its use minimizes the risk of downtime and failures, and consequently – reduces operating costs.

Design and application

The insulation is designed to work with AULIN DN80 dirt separators, forming an integral part of the device used to remove solid impurities from water. FOM-Aulin dirt separators use a combination of processes – inertial desludging, sedimentation, magnetic filtration and mechanical filtration – which guarantees high efficiency. A magnetic field located near the inlet of the mesh filter captures magnetic particles, and the mesh filter stops the remaining impurities. The design allows easy access to the filter and magnetic stack during cleaning – simply unscrew the top cover.

AULIN dirt separators have UDT approval for trading and a Hygienic Certificate from the State Sanitary Inspectorate (HK/W/0345/01/2003), which confirms their high quality and safety of use. The selection of the appropriate dirt separator size should take into account the water flow rate in the pipeline – with a flow rate not exceeding 1.1 m/s, the device should be selected according to the diameter of the connecting branch.
