Changing direction and dimensions of cable trays

The RKNd240/175H28 channel reducer is a component of the cable tray system designed to adjust the width of cable trays. It enables a smooth transition from a wider tray (240 mm) to a narrower one (175 mm), making it especially useful during the design and modification of electrical installations. The dual-track design ensures adequate load-bearing capacity and stability for cables.

Construction and materials

Manufactured from Sendzimir zinc-coated steel (PN-EN 10346:2015-09), guaranteeing corrosion resistance and long-term performance even under harsh environmental conditions. The sheet thickness of 1.0 mm provides sufficient mechanical strength. A stainless steel version is also available on request, ideal for applications requiring even higher chemical and corrosion resistance. The reducer surface is protected by hot-dip zinc coating, further enhancing its durability.

Installation and application

Designed for use with cable trays of 28 mm height. It allows flexible adaptation of the cable route to specific installation requirements, minimizing the need for additional connecting components. This is critical when changing the direction of cable routing or adapting installations to existing infrastructure. Installation is simple and intuitive, resulting in time and cost savings during project execution.

Note: The RKNd240/175H28 channel reducer does not possess fire resistance properties (no E30 or E90 classification).
