Cable ladder swivel connector – flexibility and installation safety

This swivel connector, designated with the number 461301, is a key element of the BAKS cable routing system, designed to connect cable ladders at various angles. It provides not only connection stability and strength, but also flexibility in design and installation modification. The design allows for angle adjustment over a full range with locking, making it easier to adapt to specific mounting conditions.

Design and application

Made of steel with a thickness of 2.0 mm, the connector is characterized by high resistance to mechanical loads and corrosion thanks to hot-dip galvanizing. It is compatible with cable ladders and wire mesh trays. Using this element allows for the creation of complex cable routes, tailored to individual project needs. Installation requires the use of 4 sets of SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14 screws.

Safety and compliance with standards

The connector meets the requirements of the E90 operational efficiency maintenance system according to DIN 4102-12. This means that in the event of a fire, the cable installation will maintain its functionality for at least 90 minutes – crucial for fire alarm, signaling and evacuation lighting systems. The robust construction and high-quality materials guarantee reliability and long-term use. Made of Sendzimir galvanized steel (PN-EN 10346: 2015-09) provides additional protection against corrosion. Versions made of stainless steel or with RAL paint coating are also available on request.
