Ladder Reducer – Cable Tray Route Optimization

This component, known as the left-hand ladder reducer, is designed to enable smooth connection between cable tray sections of different widths. It allows for efficient adaptation of the installation to specific spatial conditions and project requirements. Manufactured from durable steel, it ensures a robust and long-lasting connection, essential for both installers and end users.

Construction and Materials

The RDLC600/500H45 N reducer is manufactured from steel, guaranteeing high resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion. The standard version is made from Sendzimir-zinc-coated steel (S), compliant with PN-EN 10346:2015-09. Upon request, an alternative version is available with hot-dip galvanized steel (F) – PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02 – offering superior corrosion resistance, as well as stainless steel (E). Additionally, an option for powder coating in the standard RAL color palette (L) is available, allowing the color to be matched to the environment or project specifications.

The sheet thickness is 2.0 mm, ensuring rigidity and structural stability. The use of high-quality materials and precise manufacturing guarantees long-term reliability.

Installation and Compatibility

Proper installation of the reducer requires LDCH… connectors and SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14 screws (4 connectors and 16 screw sets needed). Special attention must be paid to selecting compatible ladder steps: available options include DK… steps with UKZ… brackets and DU… steps with UK… brackets. For non-standard orders, dimensions a and b must be specified to ensure perfect fit for the specific installation.

This reducer is fully compatible with the BAKS system, facilitating seamless integration with other components from the same manufacturer. This enables the creation of a comprehensive and cohesive electrical installation.
