Cable tray reducer – change of direction and width

This left-hand reducer, made of steel, is designed to change the width of a cable tray. It enables a smooth transition from a wider section (600 mm) to a narrower one (500 mm), which is particularly useful in installations where space adaptation for cables is required. Hot-dip galvanizing ensures high corrosion resistance, which is especially important in harsh environmental conditions.

Construction and installation

The reducer has been designed for easy installation. For proper connection, 4 LDCH connectors and 16 sets of screws SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14 are required. This ensures fast and stable assembly. For non-standard orders, dimensions 'a' and 'b' must be specified to enable precise customization to specific requirements.

Additionally, the reducer’s design allows mounting of cable holders UK/UKO... and UKP..., increasing system flexibility and enabling optimal cable routing. The sheet thickness (1.5 mm) guarantees strength and resistance to mechanical damage.

Materials and finish

Standardly, the reducer is manufactured from steel galvanized by the Sendzimir method (PN-EN 10346:2015-09). Upon request, versions are also available in hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02), stainless steel, or with additional powder coating in standard RAL colors – allowing customization to specific project requirements and environmental aesthetics.
