Cable Tray Reduction – Width Change

This left-hand reduction, made of steel, is designed to change the width of a cable tray route. It enables a smooth transition from a wider section (600 mm) to a narrower one (500 mm), ensuring continuous cable and conductor routing. The product is particularly useful during the adaptation of existing installations or the design of new systems requiring varying cable tray widths.

Construction and Installation

The reduction features a robust construction from 1.5 mm thick steel sheet. Thanks to hot-dip galvanizing, it provides high corrosion resistance, essential for demanding industrial environments and outdoor installations. Installation requires the use of dedicated connectors LDCH… and screws SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14 (4 pieces of connectors and 16 sets of screws). For non-standard orders, exact dimensions “a” and “b” must be specified to ensure precise fit. The reduction flanges are compatible with standard cable clamps of the UK/UKO… and UKP… series, facilitating organized and secure cable management.

Safety and Compliance

The product meets stringent fire safety requirements and is certified with an E90 fire integrity rating in accordance with DIN 4102-12. This means that in the event of a fire, the reduction will maintain its functionality for at least 90 minutes, protecting critical installation components such as fire alarm systems, alarms, and emergency lighting. Optional versions are available in hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02) or stainless steel upon request. Powder coating in standard RAL color palette is also available for better environmental integration.
