Reduction to cable tray – width change

This left-hand reduction, made of steel, is designed to change the width of a cable tray route. It is a key component in cable tray systems, enabling adaptation of the installation to changing requirements and configurations. The use of this reduction allows for a smooth transition between different tray widths, ensuring optimal cable routing.

Construction and materials

The RKLBJ100/50H60 reduction features a robust construction made of 1.0 mm thick steel. Surface finishing is achieved through hot-dip galvanizing, providing high corrosion resistance and long-term protection against environmental factors. This ensures the component retains its properties even under harsh environmental conditions.

Additionally, custom-made variants are available upon request:

• Hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02): Offers even higher corrosion resistance.
• Stainless steel: Ideal for aggressive chemical environments or applications requiring high hygiene standards.
• Painting in standard RAL color palette: Allows the reduction’s color to be matched to the surrounding environment or project requirements.

Installation and compatibility

Installation is performed using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws, ensuring quick and secure mounting. The product is designed for use with cable trays of 60 mm height, with a width of 100 mm on one side and 50 mm on the other. This enables flexible adaptation to existing cable infrastructure.
