Reduction to Cable Tray – Width Change

This left-hand reduction, made of steel, is designed to change the width of a cable tray route. It enables a smooth transition between different tray dimensions, providing flexibility in electrical installation design. This is particularly useful when adapting existing components or creating complex cable layouts.

Construction and Materials

The reduction is manufactured from steel, ensuring strength and resistance to mechanical damage. Available in several finish variants: steel with Sendzimir galvanizing (S), steel with hot-dip galvanizing (F), stainless steel (E), or with additional powder coating in standard RAL color palette (L). Standard sheet thickness is 0.7 mm. The reduction surface is protected by hot-dip galvanizing, providing enhanced corrosion resistance even under harsh environmental conditions.

Installation and Application

Installation is performed using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws. For non-standard orders, precise dimensions a and b must be specified—for example, for a reduction measuring 400 mm x 200 mm, the product code should be RK…400/200H42. The RKLBL100/50H42 reduction is designed for cable trays with a height of 42 mm and allows width transition from 100 mm to 50 mm, enabling precise adaptation of installation components to specific project requirements.
