Reduction for cable trays – change of direction and width

This left-hand reduction, made of steel, is designed to change the width of a cable tray route in electrical installations. It enables a smooth transition from a 400 mm wide tray to a 300 mm wide tray, maintaining continuous cable routing. This is a key component in cable systems, allowing installation adjustments to meet changing conditions and requirements.

Construction and installation

The reduction is designed for easy installation. It is secured using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws, ensuring a stable and secure connection with other components of the cable tray system. The sheet thickness (1.5 mm) guarantees strength and resistance to mechanical damage.

Additionally, we offer the possibility of manufacturing reductions from various materials:

• Sendzimir-zinc-coated steel (S): Standard version compliant with PN-EN 10346:2015-09.
• Hot-dip galvanized steel (F): Provides enhanced corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor applications or aggressive environments (compliant with PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02).
• Stainless steel (E): Highly corrosion-resistant and ideal for demanding conditions.
• Painting (L): Option to paint the reduction in any color from the RAL palette, allowing seamless integration with the installation’s aesthetics.

For non-standard orders requiring dimensions other than standard, please specify dimensions a and b. Note that the reduction symbol must be adjusted accordingly (e.g., RK...400/200H110 for transition from 400 mm to 200 mm).
