Reduction for cable trays – change of direction and width

This left-hand reduction, made of steel, is designed to change the width of a cable tray route in electrical installations. It enables a smooth transition from one tray dimension to another, making it especially useful when designing complex cable layouts. This component is essential during the construction or modification of installations where adaptation to existing elements or space optimization is required.

Construction and materials

The RKLBP600/500H110 reduction features a robust design and high manufacturing quality. Constructed from steel, its surface is protected by hot-dip galvanizing, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and long-term protection against environmental factors. The sheet thickness of 1.5 mm guarantees structural strength and stability. Custom versions are available upon request:

• Hot-dip galvanized steel (F): Provides even higher corrosion resistance, ideal for harsh environmental conditions.
• Stainless steel (E): Resistant to aggressive chemicals and extreme temperatures.
• RAL color powder coating (L): Allows the reduction’s color to be matched to the surrounding environment or specific project requirements.

Installation and compatibility

Installation is performed using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws, ensuring quick and secure mounting. The reduction is designed for cable trays with a height of 110 mm. For non-standard orders requiring different dimensions, specify dimensions a and b. For example, for a transition from a 400 mm wide tray to a 200 mm wide tray, the reduction code should be RK...400/200H110. The reduction has a width of 600 mm on one side and 500 mm on the other, enabling flexible adaptation to various installation configurations.
