Reduction to Cable Trough – Width Transition

This left-hand reduction, designated as RKLFJ300/200H60, is designed to change the width of a cable trough route. It is a critical component in cable trough systems, enabling installation adaptation to evolving requirements and configurations. Manufactured from steel, it ensures durability and reliable connection.

Construction and Materials

The reduction is manufactured from steel coated using the Sendzimir method (in accordance with PN-EN 10346:2015-09), guaranteeing corrosion resistance and long-term service life. An optional version is available upon request in hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02) or stainless steel. The sheet thickness is 1.0 mm, ensuring adequate mechanical strength.

Safety and Use in Fire Protection Systems

A key feature of this reduction is its ability to maintain functionality during a fire—it holds an E90 certification in accordance with DIN 4102-12. This means it retains its integrity for at least 90 minutes, protecting critical electrical circuits such as fire alarm systems, emergency signaling, and evacuation lighting. This is especially important in buildings equipped with water sprinklers.

Installation and Additional Options

Installation is performed using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws. Additionally, the reduction can be powder-coated in any RAL color upon request, allowing seamless integration with the installation’s aesthetics. The reduction is designed for a 60 mm high cable trough, with dimensions of 300 mm (wider side) and 200 mm (narrower side).
