Reduction for cable troughs – change of direction and width

This left-hand reduction, made of steel, is designed to change the width of a cable trough route. It enables a smooth transition from a 100 mm wide trough to a 50 mm wide trough, or vice versa, making it especially useful in the design of electrical and telecommunications installations. Manufactured from high-quality materials, it ensures durability and reliable connection.

Construction and installation

The reduction has been designed for easy installation. For mounting, we recommend using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws. The sheet thickness of the reduction is 1.0 mm, ensuring adequate rigidity and structural strength. Available in several material variants:

• Sendzimir zinc-coated steel PN-EN 10346:2015-09 (S): Standard version offering good corrosion protection.
• Hot-dip galvanized steel PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02 (F): Enhanced corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor or aggressive environments (available on request).
• Stainless steel (E): Maximum corrosion resistance, designed for the most demanding applications (available on request).
• Painting in standard RAL color palette (L): Option to match the color to the surrounding environment (available on request).

Application and features

The reduction is compatible with cable troughs of 60 mm height. It ensures safe and stable connection of installation components. The reduction surface is protected by hot-dip galvanizing, further enhancing its corrosion resistance and ensuring long-term service life. The product meets the E-90 fire resistance rating – essential for fire protection systems.
