Reduction to cable tray – change of direction and width

This left cable tray reduction RKLJ200/100H50 by BAKS enables a smooth transition from a 200 mm wide tray to a 100 mm wide tray. It is a key component in installations requiring a change in cable route configuration, such as when connecting additional devices or adapting to limited space. Manufactured from steel, it ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage.

Design and installation

The reduction is designed for easy and rapid installation. Mounting is performed using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws, ensuring a stable connection with other components of the cable tray system. A sheet thickness of 1.0 mm guarantees adequate structural rigidity. The reduction can be manufactured from hot-dip galvanized steel (per PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02) or stainless steel (upon request), allowing material selection to match specific environmental conditions and project requirements. Additionally, an option for powder coating in standard RAL colors enables aesthetic integration with the surrounding environment.

Materials and protection

The primary material is Sendzimir galvanized steel (per PN-EN 10346:2015-09), providing excellent corrosion resistance. Additional protection via hot-dip galvanizing enhances resistance to atmospheric factors and aggressive chemical substances, which is particularly important in demanding industrial environments. The tray height is 50 mm, ensuring compatibility with standard BAKS cable tray systems.
