Cable Tray Width Reduction

This reduction, manufactured from steel, is designed to change the width of a cable tray run. It enables a smooth transition between different tray widths, providing flexibility in design and installation modifications. The 1.5 mm thick sheet metal construction ensures adequate strength and stability.

Design and Installation

The reduction is compatible with the LDCH system. Installation requires 4 LDCH connectors and 16 sets of screws SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14. The reduction flanges are designed to allow easy mounting of cable clips UK/UKO... and UKP..., facilitating cable routing and organization. For non-standard orders, dimensions 'a' and 'b' must be specified.

Materials and Protection

Standard construction uses steel coated with the Sendzimir zinc process (PN-EN 10346:2015-09). Optional custom versions available:

• Hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02): Offers superior corrosion resistance, especially in harsh environmental conditions.
• Stainless steel: Ideal for applications requiring maximum corrosion resistance and exposure to aggressive chemicals.
• RAL color powder coating: Allows the reduction to be matched to the surrounding environment or specific project requirements.

Surface protection via hot-dip galvanizing provides additional corrosion resistance, enhancing the structural longevity.

Dimensions

The reduction has a width of 500 mm on one side and 400 mm on the other, enabling flexible adaptation of the cable tray route to changing requirements.
