Cable Tray Reduction – Adaptability and Flexibility

This reduction, manufactured from steel, is designed to adjust the width of a cable tray run. It enables a smooth transition between different dimensions, making it especially useful during the design and modification of electrical installations. Its robust construction ensures durability and reliability.

Materials and Construction

The reduction is available in several material variants, tailored to meet diverse environmental and budgetary requirements:

• Sendzimir-zinc-coated steel (S): Standard version, compliant with PN-EN 10346:2015-09.
• Hot-dip galvanized steel (F): Offers superior corrosion resistance, compliant with PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02. Ideal for outdoor or aggressive environments.
• Stainless steel (E): Highest corrosion resistance, perfect for demanding conditions.
• Painted (L): Option to match the environment color via painting in standard RAL palette.

The sheet thickness is 1.5 mm, ensuring adequate rigidity and structural strength. The reduction surface is protected by hot-dip galvanizing, further enhancing its corrosion resistance.

Installation and Compatibility

Installation of the reduction is simple and intuitive. For proper mounting, the following components are required:

• 4 LDCH… connectors
• 16 sets of screws SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14

The flanges of the reduction are designed for easy installation of cable supports UK/UKO… and UKP…. For non-standard orders, dimensions “a” and “b” must be specified to ensure perfect compatibility with existing installations. The reduction width is 600 mm on one side and 500 mm on the other, allowing precise adaptation to installation requirements.
