Cable Tray Reducer – Connection and Direction Change

The cable tray reducer RDPC400/300H45 N is a component of cable tray systems designed to change the width of the cable tray. It enables a smooth transition from a 400 mm wide tray to a 300 mm wide tray, ensuring continuous and secure routing of cables and conductors. Manufactured from steel with hot-dip galvanized corrosion protection, it guarantees durability and resistance to environmental conditions.

Design and Installation

The reducer features a robust construction based on 2.0 mm thick steel sheet. Installation is performed using dedicated connectors LDCH… and screws SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14 (requires 4 connectors and 16 complete screw sets). This ensures fast and secure installation. Note that for non-standard orders, exact dimensions (a and b) must be specified.

Materials and Finish Options

Standardly, the reducer is manufactured from steel coated using the Sendzimir method (S), compliant with PN-EN 10346:2015-09. Upon request, the following variants are available:

• Hot-dip galvanized steel (F) – compliant with PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02, offering superior corrosion resistance.
• Stainless steel (E) – ideal for use in aggressive environments.
• Painting (L) – option to select a color from the RAL palette to match the installation’s aesthetics.

Additionally, the reducer is compatible with DK… and DU… cable trays, as well as dedicated cable clips UKZ… and UK…, facilitating comprehensive electrical installation routing.
