Cable Ladder Reducer – Change of Direction and Width

This right-hand cable ladder reducer, manufactured from steel, is designed to change the direction and width of the cable route. It enables a smooth transition from a 500 mm wide ladder to a 400 mm wide ladder, making it especially useful in complex installations. The construction made from galvanized steel ensures durability and corrosion resistance, while its robust design guarantees safe cable routing.

Materials and Construction

The reducer is available in various material variants, tailored to specific installation requirements:

• Standard: Steel galvanized by the Sendzimir process (PN-EN 10346:2015-09) – provides good corrosion protection under standard conditions.
• On request:
  • Steel hot-dip galvanized (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02) – offers superior corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor or aggressive environments.
  • Stainless steel – dedicated to installations requiring higher hygiene standards or exposure to chemical substances.
  • Painting in standard RAL color palette – allows customization of the reducer’s color to match the environment or project requirements.

Installation and Compatibility

Installation of the reducer is simple and intuitive. For proper attachment, the following components are required:

• 4 LDCH… connectors
• 16 sets of screws SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14.

For non-standard orders, dimensions a and b must be specified to ensure perfect compatibility with the existing installation. The reducer is compatible with ladder sections DK… and cable brackets UKZ… and UKP…. Note: When ordering fittings, always specify the ladder symbol to select the correct ladder sections and brackets.

Additional Information

• Option E90 is available for widths from 100 to 400 mm, meaning the reducer can maintain system functionality for 90 minutes in the event of a fire (verify compliance with relevant standards and project requirements).
• Sheet thickness is 2.0 mm, contributing to the structural rigidity.
